The College of Engineering and Agro-Industrial Technology is up for a celebration as Dr. Jovila L. Movillon, a DChE faculty member for 35 years (plus 7 years as a faculty of Sugar Technology Program, CA-CAS), received the Professor Emeritus title given by the UP Board of Regents during its 1334th meeting held last 6 April 2018.
Dr. Movillon, or better known as Ma’am Jovi by her colleagues, is a Professor 12 of the Department of Chemical Engineering and a Professional Sugar Technologist. Besides being a Professor Emeritus, Ma’am Jovi is also a receiver of various academic awards such as the 2014 KKP- ST Achievement Award and 2013 CEAT Outstanding Senior Faculty.
