The College of Engineering and Agro-industrial Technology will be celebrating its 109th Founding Anniversary this 2021.
With the theme “Future-proofing Communities through Engineering Innovations”, CEAT will be holding a month-long celebration this February which showcases line-up of activities including radio interviews with its featured alumni, awarding ceremony, students’ contest and lecture series.
Radio Guestings of CEAT Alumni to the Radyo DZLB 1116 Ang Tinig ng Kaunlaran: Tatak UPLB will be held on February 12, 19 & 26, Friday’s, 3:00PM-4:00 PM and will be livestreamed through Radyo DZLB Facebook Page.
The CEAT webinar series, which will include topics from the 6 academic units of the college, will be held on 22nd to 27th of February, 10:00AM-11:00AM.
The annual awarding ceremony, 2021 CEAT Awards Night, which will be held online via Zoom for the first time will happen on February 24, 2021 (Wednesday), 6:00 PM.
The student competition, Himig at Sayaw, will also be holding an Online Edition for the first time, on February 25, 2021 (Thursday), 6:00 PM.
Due to the pandemic, all activities this year will be held virtually. Nevertheless, the college is looking forward for this year’s 109th Founding Anniversary celebration. (Mary Jane F. Gallardo)
