The College of Engineering and Agro-industrial Technology (CEAT) successfully held the ASCEND 2040 Implementation Workshop from June 10 to 12, 2025, at Tanza Oasis Hotel and Resort in Cavite.
The three-day workshop brought together CEAT faculty members, REPS, and administrative staff for collaborative planning, alignment, and strategy-building. Chairs and co-chairs of the College’s regular standing committees presented their respective three-year plans and key activities in support of the CEAT ASCEND 2040 roadmap.
Throughout the event, committees worked in clusters to refine their proposals, finalize budget allocations, and identify collaborative opportunities for implementation during Years 1 to 3. The ASCEND core team consolidated all planned activities and corresponding budget requirements submitted by each cluster.
Moving forward, all initiatives will be monitored and evaluated using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure consistent alignment with the strategic objectives of CEAT ASCEND 2040.
Serving as CEAT’s 15-year strategic plan, the ASCEND 2040 roadmap guides the College’s long-term efforts toward sustainability, innovation, and global relevance. (Mary Jane F. Gallardo)
