The Agricultural Machinery Testing and Evaluation Center (AMTEC) concluded its month-long 45th anniversary celebration on August 12 with the theme, “AMTEC through the years of serving the agricultural and fishery sectors in the country towards sustainable development and global competitiveness”.

Dr. Rossana Marie C. Amongo, CEAT Dean, expressed in her opening remarks that she is one with AMTEC in its long-term vision to be a sustainable and world-class institution.

Former directors of AMTEC such as Dr. Isagani Sarmiento, Dr. Delfin Suministrado and Dr. Aurelio A. delos Reyes with their families shared their experiences during the first few years of the center. They were also recognized for their leadership in progressing the growth of the AMTEC.

During the program, Dr. Arthur L. Our primary target is on 2Ps: our people and our processes. We are already taking the steps towards digital transformation and service expansion,” said Dr. Fajardo.

For the closing remarks, Engr. Romulo Eusebio, AMTEC’s Test Engineer for more than 30 years, expressed his vision for AMTEC in the coming years.
