The College of Engineering and Agro-industrial Technology (CEAT) will celebrate its 112th Founding Anniversary on February 24, 2024.
With the theme “Championing Industry 5.0 through Adaptive Engineering,” CEAT kicked off the month-long celebration by organizing the Calculator Mathematics National Campus Tour workshop for engineering students on February 22 at the CEAT Lecture Hall.
This is in partnership with the Calculator Mathematics Society of the Philippines (CMSP), a recognized academic organization that aims to promote student intellectual growth.
Engr. Reynold M. Agustin, the founder of CMSP, served as the resource speaker of the workshop, which aimed to promote awareness of the list of allowable calculators during engineering licensure examinations, develop students’ ability to maximize the power of calculators and showcase the latest technologies for mathematics education.
Approximately 300 students, faculty, and staff attended the workshop’s two sessions, each running for two hours.
CEAT’s 112th founding anniversary celebration will run from 22 Feb. to 21 Mar. and will include activities such as the ceremonial MOU signing with partner companies, the 3rd International Conference on Agro-industrial Technology, and the annual Awarding Ceremony and Himig at Sayaw competition.
