The College of Engineering and Agro-industrial Technology successfully celebrated its month-long celebration for its 109th Founding Anniversary this February 2021.
CEAT Alumni— Engr. Maricris Vines (ChE), Engr. Melzar Araneta (IE), Engr. Carmela Michelle Esteban (EE), Engr. Junim Bocalid (CE), Engr. Christopher Morales and Engr. Hazel Reyes (AE)— held an online guesting to the Radyo DZLB 1116 Ang Tinig ng Kaunlaran: Tatak UPLB on Feb. 12, 19 & 26.
Meanwhile, professors from different CEAT units conducted a daily webinar series from Feb.22-27. The lecture videos of Dr. Rex B. Demafelis (ChE), Dr. Josefa Angeli Revilla (IE), aP Elvin Dulce (EE), Dr. Jey-R S. Ventura (ES) COWET Team (CE) and aP Fidelina T. Flores (ABE) are now available for public viewing at CEAT’s Youtube page.

Lastly, the 2021 CEAT Himig at Sayaw Online Edition, where CEAT constituents can display their artistic abilities and talents particularly those who excel in theater and the arts, was held on Mar.6 with this year’s winners UPCES (First placer), SChEMEs (Second Place), CEO (Third Placer). The event was held to kick-off the new semester with a fresh start and to help the students bond and socialize with each other.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all activities this year was held virtually. The events were all organized and made possible by the CEAT Sports and Socials Committee with the help of the CEAT Student Council for the Himig at Sayaw program. (Mary Jane F. Gallardo)
