The CEAT Distinguished Young Alumni Award (TCDYAA)

This recognition will be given to the outstanding alumni of the College of Engineering and Agro-industrial Technology (CEAT) of the University of the Philippines Los Baños. The following will be the awards:

  • Distinguished Young Alumna/Alumnus in Agricultural Engineering
  • Distinguished Young Alumna/Alumnus in Chemical Engineering
  • Distinguished Young Alumna/Alumnus in Civil Engineering
  • Distinguished Young Alumna/Alumnus in Electrical Engineering
  • Distinguished Young Alumna/Alumnus in Industrial Engineering

The deserving alumni will be selected based on:

 

  1. His/her significant contribution in terms of Engineering to the following:
  • Science and Technology
  • Environment
  • Society/Industry/Technopreneurship
  • Education
  • Management
  1. His/her exceptional leadership quality

MECHANICS FOR NOMINATION

Any member of UPLB-CEAT Alumni Association, Inc. (UPLB-CEAT AA) may nominate as many qualified alumni as possible using the attached nomination form.

 The following are the general requirements for nomination:

  • The alumnus/alumna must be a graduate of any program of the College of Engineering and Agro-industrial Technology of the University of the Philippines Los Baños;
  • Past awardees are no longer legible for nomination;
  • He/she should not be more than 35 years old by 8 October 2024;
  • He/she must have at least 5 years of work experience related to his/her Engineering field;
  • He/she should be a member of CEAT-UPLB AA with good standing;
  • Moral integrity – no pending case or conviction of administrative as well as civil and criminal offenses;
  • One (1) copy of write-up describing the nominee’s qualifications highlighting outstanding achievements;
  • Updated curriculum vitae;
  • One (1) copy of accomplished nomination form with 2 x 2 ID photo
  • Soft copy of the nominee’s photo (should be high resolution and in jpeg or png format)
  • The nominee must be physically present during the awarding ceremony if selected.
