The College of Engineering and Agro-Industrial Technology is currently on its search for a new dean. Dr. Arnold Elepaño, incumbent dean, ended his term as the College’s Dean in November 2014.

 On the 17th of October 2014, the Search Committee presented the policies and guidelines on the selection of the new CEAT Dean.

The nominee must possess the following minimum qualifications:

  • Outstanding academic credentials
  • Five years of satisfactory service to the University, or equivalent experience
  • Commitment to the University and to the unit
  • Unquestionable moral integrity
  • Leadership qualities and administrative or managerial capability
  • Professional maturity

Who may nominate?

The following may submit nominations for the deanship individually, by group, or by sector:

  • All personnel (faculty and non-faculty) of the academic unit
  • Students of the academic unit
  • Alumni of the academic unit
  • The Search Committee may actively search for nominees

Nomination papers to be submitted to the SC

  • A duly signed nomination letter indicating the name/s of the nominee/s and the justification for the nomination
  • Five copies of the nominee’s curriculum vitae, with a two-page summary thereof

On the same day, Dr. Elepaño presented CEAT’s thrusts, priorities, and achievements.

The Search Committee consists of Vice Chancellor Crisanto A. Dorado (head), Dr. Calixto Herminigildo M. Protacio, Dr. Carla B. Dimalanta, Engr. Maria Magdalena B. Villanueva, Ms. Marion Louise M. Catanghal, Ms. Pamela C. Joyosa, and Ms. Leila D. Tamayo.
